Dorset Leisure Group is a locally owned hospitality group based at 20 King Street, Weymouth, Dorset DT4 7BJ. We operate venues across Weymouth and Abbotsbury including Rendezvous, The Royal Oak, The Anchor, Baluga Night Club, The Ilchester Arms and Little Harbour Club. We are the data controller for any personal information collected through this website.

What information we collect

We only collect the information we need to respond to you or provide our services. This may include your name, email address, phone number and any message you send us through our contact, vacancy, gift card or enquiry forms. If you apply for a job, we may also collect your CV, work history and availability.

How we use your information

We use your information to answer enquiries, process gift card orders, manage job applications, arrange bookings or events, and keep you updated about venues, offers and opportunities you have asked to hear about. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests in running the group and responding to enquiries, or because it is necessary to take steps before entering into a contract with you, such as processing a job application or booking request. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent first.

Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to help it work properly, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use the site. We use analytics tools to improve the website experience. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Sharing your information

We only share your information where necessary, for example with the specific venue handling your enquiry, with service providers who help us run our website and email systems, or where required by law. All third parties we use are required to keep your data secure and use it only for the agreed purpose.

How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Enquiry and contact details are typically kept for up to 24 months, after which they are securely deleted. Job application data is kept for the duration of the recruitment process and up to 12 months afterwards unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data. You can also object to processing or request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We aim to respond within one month.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
